About JailBETA
Well, here we are, 2008, and the number of teachers and people in positions of authority are still having sexual relationships with their students, or whoever they are in said position of authority over. And the numbers keep rising. And the stories keep getting weirder and weirder. When will it stop? Probably never. When did it start? Probably hundreds of years ago.
The fact is, we're hearing about it more and more often now. Whether its been happening at least once a day since the first school in america was built, or teachers never even thought about having a relationship with a student until late 1998, it is showing up in mainstream media outlets as much as, if not more than, reports on the latest war that the latest president has induced. We here at JailBeta, well OK, let's be honest, as of right now, it's just me, one guy, one programmer with some free time, but 'we here' at JailBeta have noticed a steady increase in either these incidents, or these incidents being reported more often. Quite frankly, I'm sick of it. Theres a couple reasons why.
1. I am the father of a 1st grade boy, (at the time I wrote this, March 2008). I remember all the pressures of growing up, all the akward feelings, all the...bullshit. It was insane, my head was always swimming with emotions I didn't even know existed. Now, mix all that together with these 'predators'. I put predators in quotes because there's no better term for it. I put it in single quotes because I'm a programmer, and it's simply habit :). Anywho, these 'predators' either have something wrong in their heads, or whatever the reason is, but they decide to 'prey' on younger children. Whether it's because they are afraid of approaching someone in their own age group, or they simply just think younger kids are hot, they're doing it, and last time I checked it, it's illegal mostly everywhere. Not to mention the social tabboo that comes with having sex with your underrage student.
2. Where in the hell were these sometimes HOT teachers that like to have sex with their students when I was in school?! I am a father, and I think like a father first. I think how horrible it would be for my son to be taken advantage of like these people take advantage of their 'prey'. But secondly, I am a man, and as a man, I have a penis, and its normally up in the top ranks of my thought process and reasoning/logic. Seriously. Why couldn't I have had a hot teacher approach me and say 'Hey, lets go to my house after school. I got some 40's of [insert your favorite malt liquor here] and a whole shit-ton of condoms. We'll have a grand ole time'? I mean c'mon, I'm no [whatever that dudes name is from Mask], I'm a decent looking dude, and was when I was growing up. Where were they? Why didn't I get my piece of hot teacher action.
3. The majority of these predators are...well lets just say they picked from the wrong bin when 'God' was handing out beauty. As I said above, I'm a decent looking guy. I'm no Jake Gyllenhaal or Bam Margera, but I'd like to think I'm a step or two above these people, and thusly, get to talk derogatorily regarding their appearance. It pisses me off. Girls, if you're attractive, why? WHY screw around with an 80 year old fugly geography teacher? I don't understand it. I can't even fathom the thought process. You're not old enough to drink yet, so you can't use the same excuse that I can for some of my, shall we say, sub-par encounters. What the hell is going through YOUR heads is almost as much as a mystery as what the hell is going through these teachers heads.
So thats that. You kinda know the reasons why I am doing this. Actually you don't, you just know my thoughts on the subject. But I think you can put two and two together, and hopefully come up with four, and realize that it's something I think about somewhat often. That, and I sometimes get really bored.
