Thomas Bavedas, the 38 year old former third grade teacher at Waltersville School in Bridgeport, Connecticut has been arrested again, this time on strong allegations of child porn. Bavedas was arrested earlier in 2008 on allegations that he raped a girl under the age of 16, on three separate occasions, between 2001 and 2005.

Bavedas was arrested for possession of marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia and released on $30,000 bond the day before he was arrested for 3 counts of sexual assault. He was then released on a $100,000 bond.

After his arrest for the sexual assaults, police seized his home computer. After the investigation of his computer, police found 60,000 photographs and 3,000 videos depicting child porn, some even depicting Bavedas committing sexual acts in the presence of children.

Bavedas is now being held on a $500,000 bond. I'm doubting he has the extra money laying around after his $130,000 bonds, and I doubt any bail bondsmen will take his case.
