Alex Diaz, teacher, caught in parked car with female student

Alex Diaz, the 37 year old teacher at Bell High School in Bell, California has been arrested after he and a 17 year old student were found in his parked car in a parking lot. Oh, they were in the backseat.

Diaz was booked on suspicion of having sex with a minor, who is now 18 years old. Diaz was free on $20,000 bond.

Update -- 06/23/2008
Alex Diaz has plead not guilty to 9 felony charges. Diaz will be in court on July 23rd, 2008 in order to determine if there is enough evidence for a trial.

Update -- 08/26/2008
Alex Diaz has pleaded guilty to 3 counts of unlawful sex with a minor and 1 count of oral copulation of a person under the age of 18. Diaz also pleaded no contest to 2 counts of sodomy.

Diaz is expected to serve 6 months in jail, as well as five years of probation afterwords. Diaz must register as a sex offender, as well as undergo psychological therapy and attend a year long sexual battery program.
