Anthony Hirsch pleads no contest to sexual assault of student

Anthony Hirsch, a 32 year old special education teachers aide at Waunakee Middle School in Waunakee, Wisconsin has pleaded no contest to repeated sexual assault of a child. It is reported that the school agreed to keep the allegations of inappropriate touching against Hirsch quiet, which is a violation of state law.

Hirsch was originally arrested for child pornography after federal agents were monitoring one of the sites Hirsch used to download the child porn. After executing a search warrant at Hirsch's home, police found and seized, among other items, his computer and some sex toys.

It is reported that previous to his job at Waunakee Middle School, Hirsch taught in a similar position at Madison La Follette High School.

Prosecutors dropped 2 charges of possession of child pornography in an agreement for his no contest plea to the assault charge. Hirsch will be sentenced after the Department of Corrections conducts a pre-sentencing investigation to determine his sentencing guidelines.
