Ashley Esposito arrested for relationship with student

24 year old student teacher at Turner Ashby High School in Bridgewater, Virginia, Ashley Esposito was arrested on charges of sodomy, and taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial or supervisory relationship.

Allegedly Esposito had a sexual relationship with a student at the school shortly after leaving the school. Under Virginia law, apparently, you can still be charged with the custodial relationship charge if the illicit contact or relationship occurred shortly after your custodial position had ended.

Esposito was released on $3,000 bond and faces up to 10 years in prison. She will be back in court in may.
