Asst. Principal Danny Reynolds arrested on 4 counts of sexual assault

Danny Reynolds, the 33 year old Assistant Principal at Vidor High School in Vidor, Texas has been arrested after turning himself on on 2 counts of sexual assault and 2 counts of improper relationship between educator and student.

Reynolds was indicted by a grand jury and subsequently turned himself in. It is alleged Reynolds had a sexual relationship with a female student between November of 2005 and January 2008. Reynolds is facing up to 20 years in prison if convicted of all charges. His attorney, of course, is claiming innocence.

No trial date has been set yet, however prosecutors believe a trial should begin by the end of 2008. Reynolds is free on $10,000 bond
