Band teacher Brock Felton arrested for molesting 22 students
In total, Felton has been charged with 15 counts of sexual indecency with a child, 9 counts of sexual assault in the second degree, and four counts of voyeurism. All except the assault charges are class d felonies. The sexual assault charge is a class b felony. Needless to say, Mr. Felton will, barring a miracle or random act of god, be spending quite an extensive stay in a nice cozy Arkansas prison. This is purely rumors, but I've heard they do things with sheep in Arkansas. Imagine what they do in an Arkansas prison...
Fenton was RELEASED on $50,000 bond. 28 felonies, and this guy gets a $50,000 bond. That is just sickening. I bet the guy that got arrested for a half ounce of meth in his pocket got more of a bond than that. Absurd.
There is a detailed list of victims and each of the crimes that happened to them at the original article. I'd list it all here, but my fingers would probably fall off.

This guy is also being allowed to participate in horseshows in Melbourne and Batesville. He wants to sue an association that just told him that it would be in his best interests to leave. Is this the kind of guy you want around your kids? What are the terms of his bond? You would think that there would be stipulations that he not be allowed around kids!

How could anyone hire a person that is a sexual preditor? And i heard that he is in a room where no one can see him! Wow, that makes a lot of sense. It's the chiropractic office across from sonic. And as far as people saying that he never done any of that stuff, they are full of crap! Maybe 2 or 3 of the kids might have streched the truth but you don't just get 22 students up there lying about everything! And the people that say the students are lying are just in denial!!!

Kids today lie all the time... It doesn't matter if it is 2 or 3 or 50. In a small town where everybody knows everybody it is easy for kids to get together. and as far as him being hired...according to my sources he is not hired by anyone just trying to help a freind out and doing the job the other girl was not smart enough to do. to me that shows good character and a soft heart.

What more proof does anyone need? HE ADMITTED IT!! That makes him guilty already even if he never goes to court. Would you watch pornography with your kids? Would you want your son watching porn with his teacher? Someone they are supposed to trust? Give me a break!

Hello bluebird....your view is very blinded.....do you really think that the allmighty batesville gaurd tells everything correct. I don't care what a newpaper says....I only care what the person says...don't beleve what you hear or read. The media is one of the downfallsof this country. All they are intrested in is sales. From what i have heard it sounds like a set up and a huge cover up by the school and they are useing him as smoke screen. We need to all remember that We live in the USA and there is somthing call inocense until proven guilty.....

I happen to know the girl who worked at that office and she was definatly smart enough to do that job and it's like she said, it's hard for her to do a 2 person job with no help. you shouldn't even be dragging her into it. she got fired for nothing..end of story. it had nothing to do with if she was smart or not it was b/c she kissed no A#%!

From what I understand about this man he feels entitled. One of those people that thinks they should have what ever they want. As I understand it he always thinks he should get 1st when he shows his horse regardless if he should win or not. Someone like that would also think if he wanted to mess with young kids that he was entitled to get away with it. He probably has everyone around him convinced that someone is out to get him and picking on him and because they care they believe him. The Batesville Guard wants to sell papers I'm sure, but they can't state a source and misquote it. There are laws agaist that also. So if they reported that the papers filed at the clerks office stated he admitted to part of the crimes, then he did.

If you knew those kids then you would know that over half of them are lying...i know that some of them are not though and that broc shouldn't have acted in such a manner... but some of the kids who said he had done these things to and with liked it...as nasty and disturbing as that is...some really said that they didn't care because they wanted to do what ever they wanted to in class and they encouraged it. this went on for years and years...until someone actually came clean who was an abused student by him and the others went right along with it...even though they wish he was still there...

HOW AWFUL TO SAY SOME OF THE KIDS LIKED IT, AND YES IT IS DISTURBING. MOST ABUSED PEOPLE EITHER "LIKE IT" OR FEEL THEY DESERVE TO BE ABUSED, IN WHATEVER MANNER THEY ARE ABUSED. Well Mr. Felton has managed to get a new court date of Oct. 17, 2008, wonder how many more times that will get streched out. And hopefully when they do go to court he will get a jury who finds him guilty. I have a sone myself who is 8 and I can only imagine how the parents of these kids must feel. I would want justice and I would want it now.

Most people posting here have no idea about any facts except what they hear thru gossip and what has been printed in papers. The newspapers got their report from the state police investigator's report,and anyone who knows her, knows she has a history of severly twisting statemnts in her reports(she has lost cases due to this) Brock says he is innocent, I hope and believe he is,however he has already been convicted by people who have no clue. Imagine if YOU were accused of such a terrible crime and YOU had NOT done it .... If he is guilty it will surely be brought out in a court of law and he will face justice. But we aren't the judge or the jury and most have not heard both sides....so let this play out and see...some day me or You may be in similar situation(accused of something we didn't do) and we will want our friends and neighbers to stand for "innocent until proven guilty".

IT MAY NOT BE TRUE THAT MR. FELTON CANNOT TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF IZARD COUNTY, BUT IF HE COMMITTED EVEN ONE OF THESE CRIMES HE IS A DEFINITE THREAT TO SAFETY. THE REAL PROBLEM IS THAT CRIMES OF THIS SORT ARE NOT BROUGHT QUICKLY TO TRIAL. IF THEY WERE THEN THE VICTIMS WOULD NOT HAVE TO LIVE IN DREAD AND FEAR FOR MONTHS OR EVEN YEARS AND IF THE ACCUSED HAPPENED BY SOME CHANCE TO BE INNOCENT, WHICH UNFORTUNATLEY IS NOT USUALLY THE CASE, THEN THEY COULD GET ON WITH THEIR LIFE.
