Band teacher Russel Pittman arrested for grabbing 14 year olds breasts

46 year old Russell Pittman has been arrested on felony charges for allegedly attempting to grab a girls breasts over her shirt while giving her a hug, and also trying to reach inside of her shirt. Pittman is a band teacher at Pines Middle School, in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

It is alleged that the girl knew Pittman personally, she and her family thought of him as her mentor. The girl told her friends, who then convinced her to tell her mother. Her mother immediately called the police, and they set up a sting with the alleged victim.

The girl was to call Pittman while police recorded it. It is reported that Pittman apologized and admitted to his actions, as well as telling the girl that he loves her. Pittman was then arrested where he said that he knew the contact was wrong.

Pittman is charged with 2 counts of lewd and lascivious molestation, and was released on $20,000 bond.
