Brenda Fant arrested for relationship with student

31 year old Brenda "Shelly" Fant, a teacher at Arkansas High School in Texarkana, Arkansas, has been arrested on one count of first degree sexual assault.

It is alleged that Fant had a sexual relationship with a 17 year old student at the school. Authorities say that no sexual encounters occured at the school. Fant turned herself in to the Bi-County Jail. No bond or plea information is available at this time.
