Mr Christopher was a former teacher at Challand Middle School as well as being the wrestling and baseball coaches at Sterling High School in Sterling, Illinois. He was arrested in October of 2008 after the girls he was trying to have sex with on yahoo were actually police officers. Christopher was charged with two counts of attempted enticement of a minor to engage in illicit sexual activities.
In July of 2007, prosecutors said that Christopher had committed the following acts during his yahoo escapades: sexual abuse in the second degree, sexual abuse in the third degree, lascivious acts with a child, assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, indecent contact with a child, contributing to delinquency, enticing away a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor. Holy crap thats a hell of a list.
In October 2007 (due process, anybody?), Christopher plead guilty to one count of child enticement, and also admitted to contacting 10 other girls on yahoo, presumably for sex.
Now in good old June 2008, Mr. Christopher has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison. His fiance and 30 other people claimed that he was an "all american guy", while the prosecutor called him a pedophile.
