Coach Dudley Dixon III gets 5 months for sex with student

Dudley Dixon III, a former coach at Westlake High School in Westlake, Louisiana has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to five months in jail. Dixon plead guilty to a lesser charge of misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a minor. Dixon was originally charged with a felony version of the same count.

Dixon was accused of having a consensual sexual relationship with a 16 year old female student in late 2005. In October 2006 Dixon was arrested. Reportedly the girls did not object to the lesser charge. Dixon will not have to register as a sex offender.
