Coach Steven Kemp arrested for sexual assault of 17 year old female student

Steven Kemp, the 34 year old former teacher and coach at West Central High School, in Biggsville, Illinois was arrested in November 2007 for the alleged sexual assault of a 17 year old female student.

Kemp was arrested and charged with three counts of criminal sexual assault and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse after it was reported that Kemp had sexual intercourse with the girl in his home on three occasions. It is also alleged that Kemp fondled the girls breasts on 2 separate occasions.

Kemp, who was the golf and basketball coach, resigned form the school in October 2007. Kemp has plead not guilty to all charges and is currently awaiting trial, set to start July 23rd.
