Coach and teacher Phillip Beeson arrested for touching 2 female students

The incidents allegedly occurred in September and October of 2007, however the geniuses at the school didn't report it to the authorities until February of this year. Beeson is accused of copping a feel on the chests of 2 underage students.
Beeson was released on $5,000 bond.
Update -- 06/21/2008
Charges dismissed. Reportedly, the parents of the accusers did not believe Beeson had assaulted them, and the girls' attorneys requested that their subpoena be quashed. Beeson is a free man.

You may want to update your website. These charges have been dismissed. According to the New Bern Sun Journal the parents of these 2 girls got up and testified in court that they did not want to press charges and that they DID NOT believe that their daughters had been assaulted! The 2 accusers refused to testify!!! Phillip Beeson is a person of great character and loves to teach. I hope that the fact that so many websites have published such trash does not ruin his career!

I think it is extremely interesting how people choose to believe what they want to and how they use a PLAY ON WORDS to vindicate someone who does NOT deserve it. The parents did indeed say they thought that an ASSAULT did not occur, however they did NOT say that he did not touch them inappropriately. In fact, one of the parents testified under oath that she believed that he did touch her daughter on the chest in an inappropriate manner and that her daughter was traumatized by the events. So, I guess he gets to get away with his disgusting behavior now that the parents chose to protect their girls when the school system did not. Sickening.
