Craig Kelso, history teacher, faces 60 years for sex with student

Craig Kelso, the 38 year old history teacher at Granger Junior High School in National City, California has been arrested on suspicion of a sexual relationship with a 15 year old former student. Kelso reportedly has no relationship to Michael Kelso, from 'That 70's show'.

Kelso has plead not guilty to 3 counts of penetration with a foreign object, 10 counts of unlawful sex with a minor, 4 counts of oral copulation, 1 count of sodomy, 2 counts of lewd touching of a minor and 1 count of trying to dissuade a witness. Needless to say, Mr. Kelso will be facing a good deal of prison time.

Kelso went missing after being suspended from the school, and police thought he may be at the school his wife works at, whom he had threatened earlier. Chula Vista and National City police surrounded the school and locked it down, however Kelso was not there. Kelso remains jailed on a $900,000 bond. He will be in court next on September 8th and 29th.
