Craig Lee, Superintendent of Schools, arrested for child porn

53 year old superintendent of the Lagunitas School District has been arrested and has plead no contest to possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexual conduct. Lee was originally arrested on 13 counts, however as a result of his plea agreement, all charges were combined into one.

How did his child porn come out to the open you ask? Well, his girlfriend found it, and then a domestic dispute at Lee's home ensued. Police were called, and surely they saw the child porn once Lee's girlfriend showed it to them.

Lee faces up to 3 years in prison. Sentencing is set for June 30th, 2008. Before becoming superintendent of schools, Lee was a teacher and principal at Igo-Ono Elementary School near Redding, California.

Update -- 07/27/2008
Craig Lee has been sentenced to 6 months in jail with the possibility of electronic home confinement. In the case that his request for the tether is denied, Lee will begin serving his sentence on October 21st. Lee will be required to register as a sex offender.
