Curis Been, principal and coach, arrested on numerous charges of raping a student

37 year old principal and football coach at Midway High School, in Council Hill, Oklahoma, Curtis Been was arrested on charges of forcible sodomy, rape by instrumentation, lewd molestation, second-degree rape and lewd or indecent proposals or acts to a child under 16. Been has also been charged on another count of lewd or indecent proposals based on pre-trial testimony by one of the girls involved in the case.

Two 16 year old girls are reportedly the victims of Been. One girl, 14 years old at the time of the incidents that occurred in 2006, told investigators and family members that she and Been had sex 3 times on school grounds. Another girl who is at least under 16 disclosed that she refused Beens sexual proposals.

Been was released on $150,000 bond when arrested in September 2007.
