Daniel Kerekes arrested for sexual relationship with female student

Kerekes is accused of having a somewhat long term sexual relationship with a female student, which started in the fall of 2007. The principal of the school reported Kerekes to the local police department. Kereks is being held on $200,000 bond, and faces 5-10 years in prison.

Daniel Kerekes has admitted to having sex with a 16 year old female student, and has pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child. Kerekes will not face sex offender registration, but will face up to 3 years in prison when he is sentenced October 17th, 2008.

Daniel Kerekes has been sentenced to 3 years in prison. However, he may be able to get out after 3-9 months in prison as part of an intensive program. Kerekes is prohibited for life from holding a public job where he will be in any contact with minors.
And here's the best part, he will not be required to register as a sex offender, even though Kerekes has admitted that he had sex with a minor. Wtf?! The victim and her mother both wrote letters to the judge and prosecution stating that they did not think that prison was a proper punishment, that their relationship was consensual and the girl was not harmed physically or emotionally, yadda yadda.
Who wants to bet how long it is till we see Mr. Kerekes getting arrested for violating his sentence requirements by holding a job at Chuck E. Cheeze or the like?
