Drama teacher Jeffrey Holsclaw arrested in craigslist sex sting

Jeffrey Holsclaw, the 49 year old teacher at Clewiston Middle School, in Clewiston, Florida has been arrested and charged with procuring prostitution of a minor, sex offenses on a victim between the ages of 12 to 15-years-old, and obscene communication on a computer to seduce or solicit a minor after a craigslist sting by undercover officers.

It is reported that officers posted a notice on craigslist titled "young and ready to have some fun". Holsclaw responded to the post and the two interacted between emails. It is alleged that Holsclaw offered to pay the girl, whom he thought was 15 years old, 150 dollars for oral sex, and offered 250 in order to not have to wear a condom.

Holsclaw and the "girl", who was of course an undercover officer, then arranged a meeting time and place, and Holsclaw was arrested.

Coleslaw, pardon, Holsclaw, is no stranger to getting picked up by the police for sex crimes. Holsclaw was apparently arrested in Ohio for soliciting prostitution some years ago. Holsclaws record there has been expunged however. It is reported that after his arrest in Ohio, clearly barring him from teaching, Holsclaw went to Florida seeking a teaching license. Good idea.
