Eduardo Serrano, fifth grade teacher, molested 6 year old family member

Edward Serrano, the 56 year old 5th grade teacher at Valle Lindo Elementary School in Chula Vista, California has been arrested after allegations that he molested a six year old female family member.

Serrano has been charged with 1 count of child molestation and 1 count of lewd conduct, and is being held on $500,000 bond. The alleged assault occurred in Serranos home. Serrano was arrested after the girl told her mother, who then called police.

The type of relationship between Serrano and the girl is not clear. However police are investigating another possible molestation case involving a child at the school where Serrano worked.
