Educator Mark Boster sentenced for oral sex with 14 year old boy

46 year old teacher in Columbus, Ohio, Mark Boster, has been sentenced to the maximum penalty of 1 year in jail for importuning. He was arrested in mid 2007 for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and importuning, in relation to his attempts to have oral sex with a 14 year old boy.

Boster was arrested when sheriffs deputies posed an online sting in which the 14 year old boy Boster propositioned for oral sex was actually a deputy. Boster is no stranger to the law, in his 20+ years working for the school system, he has been reported for watching boys urinate in the bathroom, rubbing a boys legs, twisting a boys nipple, and improper physical contact with students.

Boster also has had 5 foster children over the years, and has been reported to childrens services multiple times. Police were called to Bosters home a total of 115 times in the past 10 years for fights, runaways, suicide attempts, and other incidents.

He pleaded guilty to importuning and received one year in jail, along with being required to be a registered sex offender for 15 years.

What a guy.
