Emili Daniels accused of having sex with student in classroom

34 year old Emili Kay Daniels, a biology teacher at American Heritage Academy in Cottonwood, Arizona has been arrested and charged with 3 counts of sexual conduct with a minor.

It is alleged that Daniels and a 17 year old male student had had an ongoing sexual relationship since November 2008. The principal of the school walked in on the two in Daniels’ classroom, after finding her door unlocked. The principal reported that the boy had his pants down near Daniels’ desk and Daniels herself, exposing his underwear.

It is alleged that 3 other sexual encounters happened in the classroom as well. Initially, both Daniels and the boy denied any sexual conduct, but the next day the boy admitted to several incidents where the two had sex.

Daniels is currently in the Camp Verde Detention Center. Her bond amount, if any, is not available at this time.
