Former music teacher Eric Standefer gets almost 6 years for child porn
Federal agents executed a search warrant on Standefer's home after he was implicated in an online child porn purchase. When agents executed the search warrant, they arrived to hear a pounding noise coming from the home.
Agents then busted the door down where they found Standefer's laptop smashed all to pieces, and a hammer on the keyboard. Standefer says that he feared he would be caught downloading music illegally. Child porn is perfectly acceptable though.
Imagine his suprise when at the exact moment he's busting his computer to bits, the feds kick the door in. The look on his face must have been absolutely priceless.
Agents did find 12 CD-R's with 4,258 images and 12 movies depicting very young children engaging in sexual acts. Along with 3,500 images and 60 videos depicting child porn on his computer itself. No, suprisingly enough, a hammer to a computer does not erase your hard drive.
Standefer will be required to register as a sex offender.
