Former substitute teacher James Steel gets probation sex crime

James Steel, the 55 year old former substitute teacher at Windsor Knolls Middle School in Ijamsville, Maryland has been sentenced to a suspended 6 month jail term, and 5 years probation. Steel was accused of and indicted for following a 12 year old male student into the restroom, and watching the boy urinate.

Mr Steel eventually plead no contest to a charge of trespassing in a private place with prurient intent, and was given his sentence. Steel will also no longer be allowed to be employed anywhere where he could come into contact with juveniles, and he is to have no contact whatsoever with persons under the age of 18.
