Former teacher Stephanie Draper arrested for relationship 6 years ago

35 year old Stephanie Draper, a former teacher at Millard North Middle School and Beadle Middle School in Omaha, Nebraska has been arrested on allegations of having a sexual relationship with a male student over 6 years ago. Between February 2001 and April 2002, the student at Beadle Middle School alleges he and Draper had sexual contact numerous times both at Drapers house and other sexual contact in other places.

It is further alleged that Draper provided the boy, who was 14 at the time, with alcohol and cigarettes. Reportedly the victim has admitted to trying to extort $5,000 from Draper in order to keep quiet about the incidents. Draper did not have the money, and later turned herself in.

Draper resigned from the school earlier this year and has been released on a $100,000 bond.
