Gregory Keau arrested for sexually assaulting special ed student

30 year old Gregory Keau, a teachers aide at McKinley High School in Honolulu, Hawaii has been arrested and charged with two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault and two counts of 4th degree sexual assault.

Keau is accused of ordering a 17 year old female special education student who was cleaning a classroom to take her off her pants. She complied, and then it is alleged that Keau rubbed himself on the girls butt. It is further alleged that Keau forced the girl to perform oral sex on him. She complied, reportedly out of fear.

Another teacher at the school, a special ed. skills teacher walked in on the two while the girl was performing oral sex on Keau.

Keau turned himself in and is being held on $75,000 bond.

Update -- 08/05/2008
Gregory Keau has pleaded guilty to all 4 counts that he was charged with. The maximum sentence allowed by law is 22 years in prison, 10 years for each felony count, and 1 year for each misdemeanor count. It is reported that the prosecution is seeking the maximum penalty. Keau will also be required to register as a sex offender.
