Gym teacher Robert Godfrey arrested for relationship with 17 year old
Robert Godfrey, a 23 year old gym teacher at Ewing High School in Ewing, New Jersey has been arrested and indicted on charges of official misconduct, child abuse, distributing obscene materials to a minor and two counts of sexual assault.
Godfrey is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17 year old female student. It is alleged that Godfrey sent the girl nude pictures of himself to her cell phone, and that she sent nude pictures of herself to him.
The alleged relationship is reported to have lasted for 3 months. Godfrey is being held on a $25,000 bond. It is reported that Godfrey is in the US illegally, and will therefore face deportation.
