33 year old social studies teacher at Sanderson High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, Shannon Best, has been arrested on charges of indecent liberties with an 18 year old female student.

The two apparently had a weekend enocunter which included sex, and hopefully pillow fights and scantily clad panties. Hey, she's 18, It's ok for me to fantasize, damn it.

Best has taught at the school since 2004, and has resigned. She was arrested and subsequently released from the county jail. Because Best is a teacher and the 18 year old girl is a student, it is considered illegal.

More details have emerged, and they aren't helping the Best lesbian teacher on JailBeta. It is reported that Best had 2 females spend the night at her house. It is also alleged that Best had a month long sexual relationship with the 'victim' in this case. She even sent the girl a nude picture of herself to the girls cell phone. I for one, would not mind seeing this photo.

Shannon Best has got off with a slap on the wrist, essentially. Best agreed to plead guilty with the following conditions: 45 days in jail, suspended. 1 and a half years of unsupervised probation. No contact with the victim or minors at all, unless supervised. Best of all, no sex offender registration required. Teachers, please leave your clothes at the door, it's apparently open season on students.
