James Raymond, music teacher, arrested on bond violation

26 year old James Raymond, a music teacher at Park Avenue Elementary and East Auburn Community schools in Auburn, Maine, has been arrested on a bond violation. It is alleged that Raymond was seen approaching and talking to a child at a local wal-mart. An off duty detective saw him and he was subsequently arrested. His bond conditions state that he is now allowed any contact with children under 16.

Raymond was originally arrested in October 2007 on charges of unlawful sexual touching of a student. It is alleged that Raymond inappropriately touched a 7 year old girl, who then reported the incident to her mother. Her mother hesitated, and the girl herself ended up reporting it to administrators, who then went to police.

Raymond has said all sorts of creepy things, like that he was attracted to all underage girls between kindergarten and third grade, 95% of the time he was satisfied with just a hug from a girl, etc etc.

He's awesome. Really. Lets hope his bail gets revoked.

James Raymond has been found guilty by jury of 2 counts of unlawful sexual touching and 3 counts of assault.
