Janitor Pablo Fregoso arrested for touching 3rd grader

Pablo Fregoso, a 53 year old custodian at La Primaria Elementary School in El Monte, California has been arrested on suspicion of fondling a 3rd grade girl. The girl approached school officials and told them of the alleged actions, and police and CPS were called.

Fregoso was placed on paid leave, and following his arrest was placed on unpaid leave. It is reported that Fregoso has no criminal history and no known allegations similar to this one have ever been made against Fregoso. Fregoso has worked in the school system for 20 years, with 5 years at La Primaria Elementary School.

Fregoso is being held on $100,000 bond.
