Jermell Combs charged with rape of 16 year old student

Jermell Combs, the 27 year old maintenance employee at Tahlequah High School in Tahlequah Oklahoma has been charged with second degree rape of a 16 year old student. Combs is the second teacher this month at the school to be charged with a felony in relation to having sexual relationships with a student. Christopher Massey has also been charged with second degree rape.

It is said that Combs and the 16 year old girl had sexual intercourse in February of 2008. The sex was reportedly consensual, and occured when Combs invited the girl into the school bathroom where the two then had sex.

The girl has said that she reported the incident because she feared that she may be pregnant. Combs initially was charged with first degree rape, however that charge was dropped down to second degree. Combs faces a court date on May 5th, 2008. Maybe he and Massey can share a prison cell.
