John Bacho, former teacher, arrested for sexual battery

32 year old Jon Bacho, former social studies teacher at Strongsville High School in Strongsville, Ohio was indicted on charges of sexual battery and possession of a criminal tool. Criminal tool? Some burglary tools maybe? Nope, not in Ohio. In Ohio, you get arrested for possession of a criminal tool because you committed a crime in your vehicle, and your vehicle becomes said tool!

Ugh. Bacho is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17 year old female student. The two reportedly had sex a total of 3 times, twice at Bachos home, and once in his truck. Bacho's indictment comes after a lengthy investigation which was hindered by school administrators, for not reporting the allegations made by the girls friend. The school conducted their own investigation and decided no foul play had occured.

Apparently police had a different idea. Bacho has resigned from the school. It is not clear whether or not he has been arrested and/or released.

Update -- 05/12/2008
Bacho has been arraigned and pleaded not guilty to five counts of sexual battery. Bacho was released on $10,000 bond.

He was arraigned today and plead not guilty. These were charges wrongfully brought up against a teacher in a school system that apparently doesn't care about either there students or there teachers. Its a shame that you would want a man who is actually a wonderfull teacher to go down. It shows your ignorance, how sad.
