John Tipton28 year old history teacher and softball and football coach at Bigelow High School in Bigelow, Arkansas, John Tipton, has been arrested following an internet sex sting, in which Tipton allegedly solicited sex from a minor. Why don’t you have a seat over there?

Collaborative forces between sheriffs deputies and police officers conducted this sting, and Tipton and two other men were involved in soliciting sex from a police officer posing as a minor. Tipton was arrested after showing up to the designated meeting place.

Tipton is expected in court July 7th 2008 where formal charges are expected to be filed. The school has reportedly cut off contact between Tipton and students, but no reports are clear if he has been suspended or placed on leave.
