Joy Blackstock arrested for sex with 18 year old male student

23 year old Joy Blackstock, former teacher at Early High School in Early, Texas has allowed a student to get an early start on college by having a sexual relationship with an 18 year old male student over the course of 2 months, between October and November of 2007.

Blackstock has been charged with having an improper relationship between educator and student, a second degree felony, punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

Blackstock turned herself in to the authorities after a sealed indictment on May 1st. She has also reportedly resigned from the school and is free on $15,000 bond.
