Matthew McgaffiganMatthew McGaffigan, 26 year old teacher at Indian River Correctional Institution, in Vero Beach, Florida, has been arrested on charges of promoting sexual activity of a victim less than 16 years old, lewd and lascivious behavior by a person 18 years old or older with a victim less than 16 and possession of a photograph of a sexual performance by a child.

Indian River Correctional Facility, as you may have guessed by now, is basically Juvy. McGaffigan, our second candidate for sick bastard of the day, was housing the 14 year old boy and his 22 year old brother in his home. It is alleged that McGaffigan performed sex acts on himself while the boy was in his presence and allowed the boy to do the same, while watching pornography with McGaffigan in the room. Also, McGaffigan has admitted to images of the boys genitals on his computer, as well as sleeping in the same bed as the boy up to 15 times in the past year.

It is not clear whether or not Mcgaffigan has bail or has been released on bail yet.
