36 year old Robert Becker Jr., a former substitute teachers aide as well as a volunteer assistant basketball coach at Franklin Central School in Franklin, New York has pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree sexual abuse, second-degree attempted sexual abuse., third-degree rape, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Becker was originally arrested and charged with first degree rape, 3 counts of third-degree rape, first degree sexual abuse, second degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree criminal sexual act, second-degree attempted sexual abuse, and 5 counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Wow.

Becker was accused of having sex with an underage girl, and attempting to have sex with two other underage girls, all of their ages which have not been released, though apparently under 17 according to his charges.

Becker originally plead not guilty, but then accepted a plea deal which would require him to serve 1 year in jail, 10 years of probation, and register as a sex offender. Pretty sweet deal for him, considering the charges.

Becker was arrested after one of the 3 girls he allegedly assaulted came forward to school administrators, who subsequently called the police and reported the allegations. Becker was supposed to receive his sentence on March 10th, 2009, but his sentencing was delayed by request of the prosecuting attorney in order to file additional motions in the case.

Becker will be back in court March 30th, and could be sentenced then, depending on what kind of tricks the prosecution has up their sleeves.
