41 year old Michael Gogerty, fifth grade teacher at Hafen Elementary School in Pahrump, Nevada was sentenced to 8 years in federal prison for his large stash of pre-pubescent child porn. Gogerty was owned by his ISP, and some investigators in Toronto, after he uploaded some child porn via YouSendIt. Gogerty was charged with possessing and receiving child pornography over the Internet.

Gogerty reportedly had numerous images and over 250 videos of child porn on his computer, and over 200 discs full of child porn after ICE agents searched his home and computer. In total, more than 60,000 files containing some sort of child porn were recovered from his home.

Gogerty had been teaching in Nevada schools since 1999, and was also apparently a day care worker as well as teaching assistant. Needless to say, Mr. Gogerty has a serious problem with young children.
