Tyrone Forbes, choir director, preacher arrested on rape charges
Tyrone Forbes, a 49 year old choir director at Seven Hills Charter School in Worcester, Massachusetts, has been arrested on 7 counts of rape of a child.
It is alleged that Forbes, who is also an elder at Mount Sinai Church of God, had a sexual relationship with a 15 year old boy. It is not clear whether the boy was a student at the school or a parishioner at the church.
Forbes was caught by a patrolling police officer who found the two in Forbes’ parked car at 1:30am in a parking lot. After questioning, police determined that the relationship between the two had been of a sexual nature, since at least November 2007.
Forbes has plead not guilty and is being held on $5,000 bond. A no contact order has been placed on Forbes for the 15 year old boy.
