46 year old Jerome Bennett, a technology and science teacher at St. Monica School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of possession of child porn.

42 year old Thomas Price, a teacher at Lincoln High School in Shinnston, West Virginia has been charged with 2 felony counts of displaying and distributing obscene material to a minor.
It is alleged that for the first 8 months of 2008, Price sent a male student numerous text messages that detailed sexual activities he wanted to perform on and/or with the boy.

Julie Petty, the 37 year old substitute teacher and soccer coach at William James Middle School in White Bluff, Tennessee has pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery by an authority figure. In exchange for her plea, prosecutors have dropped a statutory rape charge against her.
Petty was originally arrested in May 2007 after being accused of sexually assaulting a 14 year old female student. The details of the assault are not clear.
